A small breakout board with a passive piezo buzzer and three header pins (VCC, I/O and GND) for hobby electronics. A passive buzzer has no internal oscillator, so it needs a square-wave signal of roughly 2 to 5 kHz from your microcontroller, and changing the frequency changes the pitch.
