A beginner through-hole soldering kit that builds a small adjustable DC regulator around the LM317: circuit board about 59.5 x 31.5 mm, regulator with heat sink, potentiometer, capacitors, diodes, LED and screw terminals. Once assembled, turning the knob sets the output between roughly 1.5 and 12 V. Supplied as loose parts; needs a soldering iron, solder and a suitable low-voltage input supply, none of which are included.
