1831 United States Coronet Head large cent, one coin. Early U.S. copper issue from the Philadelphia Mint.
The date and major design are visible, with Liberty on the obverse and ONE CENT within the wreath on the reverse. This is a well-circulated example with substantial wear, dark brown/gray coloration, porous and rough surfaces, scattered marks, and areas consistent with old environmental exposure. A small green-colored corrosion/verdigris area is visible in the right obverse field.
