One 1949-D Franklin half dollar, with the D mint mark visible above the Liberty Bell on the reverse. This Denver Mint coin features Benjamin Franklin on the obverse and the Liberty Bell with a small eagle on the reverse. The issue's standard composition is 90% silver and 10% copper.
